So, my throat was sore this morning and I was feeling verrrrry unmotivated to go workout, but then I decided to go ahead and put on my gym clothes to do my house cleaning and run my few errands around town. As soon as I did, I was excited to workout later today!
I guess there are positive emotions associated with working out, (such as the weight loss success I've been having since I've started going to the gym regularly) so putting on the clothes made me feel that again, and got me out of my "funk".
So, around 3:30pm, I'll be off to the gym! :)
Lesson learned: When in a funk and unmotivated to work out... just put on your gym clothes and it may help!

Monday Weigh-in 4/18/2011
So, today's weight is 224.6! Lost 4.2 this week! This makes me very proud!
Seems like I've finally found a routine that works for me. Usually I have a good week, then a bad week, etc. But the past two weeks have been good.
I have been:
1. Not eating complex carbs for dinner (breads, pastas, rice etc)
2. Upped my water intake.
3. Do no eat past 6pm.
4. Upped my resistance at the gym.
As for today, it is SPLURGE DAY! :) I always treat myself to a meal on Monday's that "breaks" my diet rules. This helps me to not deny myself the yummy goodness of crap food lol ;) So, today I got Chik-fil-a for lunch. Spicy Chicken sandwich, cole slaw and Coke Zero.... D-LISH!

My first blog post!
Welcome to my weight loss journey!
I have never been a "blogger" before, so bare with me! Thank you, Bobbi for giving me idea!
So, I have currently been on a journey to lose 60 pounds by time I turn 30 years old on September 24th. Currently, I have lost 30.4 lbs since January 3rd, 2011, so I am well on my way!
I have been staying motivated by posting results once a week on my "baby board". It has been extremely helpful! "Weigh-in days" are on Mondays, so my next weigh in will be tomorrow! Wish me luck!
